Because of the shoulder on the prop shaft. it is
possible to damage the inner seal of the bearing
housing or gearcase head if installed without
this tool.

Slipping this seal protector over the prop shaft
guarantees a quick. safe assembly operation.

Also used on NU series stern drive engines.
