For 1973-76 R.C. engines. The inner surfaces of the end housings and the sides of the rotor can be easily damaged if carelessly handled during assembly. Also, the irregular outer surfaces of these parts make it difficult to provide proper support which will keep the bores vertical when removing or installing press fit parts. This support tool keeps the bores vertical and eliminates the worry of damaging the rubbing surfaces.
