For 1975-77 50 and 55 HP; 1975-77 75 HP (short shaft). This installer used with cormponents of in-line tool 385546 to press the Pinion bearing into the gearcase. Accurate bearing placement is critical if the driveshaft and pinion are to be properly supported. Using this tool insures that the bearing is installed to the correct depth without danger of cocking or damaging the bearing case. Use soft face hammer to avoid distorting screw head.
