PROBLEM
When the lower engine covers are removed and installed to for service, it is possible for the oil distribution lines to be pinched between the covers.

SOLUTION Order and install the part below. All product in your inventory and all product received for servicing and storage must have this part installed. Please inspect your inventory and install this clamp if it is missing.

PROCEDURE
The lower covers do not need to be removed to do this work.

Install J clamp with opening toward rear power-head using existing intake manifold bolt.

Torque bolt to 40 to 50 in. lbs. (4.5 to 5.6 N•M).

Inspect the oil distribution lines. If they are pinched then please call Technical Service at 1-800-888-4662.If they are not pinched then position them in J clamp and close clamp. Be careful not to pinch lines.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
After the repair has been completed, a standard warranty allowance request farm must be filled out with all required engine information.

Use a flat rate code JC-01 for 0.25 hours. Use a special failing part number of 8888816. Credit for labor will be issued only when the warranty allowance request form is submitted. Bombardier will credit dealers for repairs performed up to 12 months from the date this bulletin is issued. The Proper return address is as follows:
